I’m a TV Star – I was on NTV7 Venus

I just remember I hadn’t posted about this as I was at the building management office paying for my car-parking and the fella asked if I was on NTV7 Venus a while ago..

So yes I was! On May 30th I was on an edition about Public Transport and Taxis.

The regular host is Aishah Sinclair but she wasn’t around so it was hosted by Sariah who is also the Producer of the show.

You can watch it below:

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

From the NTV7 site here.

I forgot to take my camera so I don’t have any pics. It was an interesting experience, it was my first time on Live TV and it seems like quite a few people watch this show!

I tried not to be too anti-government or to come across like a whinging ex-pat. Thanks to Kevin for a chance to be on the show.

You can catch plenty of Venus online at NTV7 Catch-up TV here:

for a British, you quite lost your accent eh mate? U sounded more like a Malaysian now 🙂 There’s still hint of European “R” in your accent so there’s still hope for you

    Cheers

KY: Better if I get to host the show eh.

Balqiz: Who knows what the future may bring! Yah, never had a strong accent in the first place so it’s quite adaptive.

Dabido: Yay, do I get an award for being on TV?!

Chatts: Hahaha – rumbled…I have no idea, I guess most people aren’t familiar with the term.

    sotong: Honorary Malaysian!

v0ices: Sorry it’s valuable now, will have to put it up for auction.

Edwin Tan: Nah not really, was just briefed not to swear or anything as it’s really live, no buffer/censoring.

n.: I lost it in much less than 4 years 😉

Precious Pea: Let’s see if we win the trip hahaa.

moons: Don’t forget magazines too (am in current issue of Surf!). What next? Cameo in a movie maybe.

Kevin: Hahahah yeah I guess I can pass off.

kaswira: Nah couldn’t say anything like that, was briefed not to compare anything to UK lest I come across like a bitter expat.

andrew: Nope not as far as I know.

    Joshie: Yahhhh hybrid ftw!

chris tock: Is it, you got friends leh?

  19. Dabido June 18, 2008 at 7:14 pm #

Um … maybe next year award ceremony! 🙂
