Newsflash: Shaolin almost dies of heart attack..

Well there I was…standing on the balcony having a cancer stick, when lo and behold I was like OMFG WHERE THE FUCK IS MY CAR, IT’S GONE..

I had parked my car here:

Had it been stolen? Had it been towed away?

No, fortunately it just happened to be an optical illusion..the car was perfectly hidden behind the bastard tree!

My heart actually started beating fast..so I rushed downstairs to see if it was true, and there was my beauty, just as I’d parked it, phew!

The car…and the bastard heart tremour causing tree:

I’m doing some work today, how weird is that?

Anyway, I called Stimx just now, and they have a port free so I’ll be connected to the world soon, which will be like TOTALLY AMAZING…yeah, rock on, bring on DOTA at home (and live pr0n streams), I can’t wait 🙂

They said 1-2 weeks, so that’s ok.

Dialup officially sucks, I connected to Jaring last night at 12Kpbs..

Did some chrimbo shopping last night, ran out of time though, malls should close at midnight, cos you get there like 7.30 (straight from work) then have dinner..leaves you only just over an hour for shopping.

Had dinner at Nando’s, the best chicken salads in the world! (The only place I’ve found a spicy salad! Apart from those I make)

Followed by a half chicken, man I was stuffed, but it’s Christmas, to hell with it!

Hung around for a while in TGIF, apparently Chilis is much better.

I also think you should all print out multiple copies of this, and use them at your will:

shhh.pdf

Will post something meaningful soon I think.

BTW BlogExplosion Readers, Welcome, come again soon, or don’t just stay here for 30 seconds and never return…really it’s up to you, but reading my blog will enrich your life, there is no doubt.

If you are from BE or not, and you want to read the ‘serious’ things I wrote you should check the Deep Thoughts section.

I got my first comment spam today too, that sux0rs!

Was surfing on BlogEx and came across ShaolinTiger Kung-Fu Geekery…dude has a nice site…yall should check'me out. Here's what I found…I think we all should have some of these on hand. Don't you agree? I've overheard some crazy conversations in restaurants, elevators, and just walking on the sidewalk. I remember this one woman was talking about her cheating husband and then there was this one dude who was talking about his STD problems. I guess people think that when…

Dude, I got my Streamyx in 48 hours and that’s not the first time I was able to do that either. Let me teach you the trick.

First you call up the ACTIVATION DEPARTMENT. That department is separate from service department. You have to call the 1300 number and demand to speak to the activation department. This may take a few phone calls and you will have to lie your ass off: “But I have had my Streamyx for two weeks already and its not activated yet!”

Second you have to call the NEW APPLICATIONS DEPARTMENT. To get that number, you have to call the 1300 number and follow the same process. The new apps department will not give you your password but you can ask them to reset it. Lie your ass off: “But I forgot my password! The guys who came to fix my Streamyx didn’t give it to me.”

Under no circumstance should you buy the modem from Streamyx. The people who deliver it will charge you an extra RM50 for it. This is of course a waste of money for people like you and me who know how to read a manual. You’re better off getting it from Law Yat.

    Tim out.

Whoa, you nearly gave me an heart attack about your car! At first when I read I nearly got the feeling as you got (*omigosh where is my car??????? I can’t see it!!!!!!!!!!!!). Lucky to know that it’s just behind the tree =) Thanks for visitng my blog and commenting.

I still remember that my father’s car was once towed away. The scenario is that the police motorcycle was parked at a CAR (not for motorcycles, duh!) lot so my father parked in there and accidentally pushed the poor vehicle into the drain (but my father didn’t know). Then he went to chat with his friends for more than 3 hours and when he is about to drive home his car was gone (towed away by the pissed policeman).

I came to your blog via a link in Security Forums – glad you’re safe and secure despite the havoc wreaked elsewhere in Asia by the ‘quake and tsunami.

Heh! Glad you found your car – the same thing has happened to me in those mult-level car parks downtown; there’s been a couple of times where my car has been, ehhhr, misplaced. 🙂

That “SHHH campaign” is a great idea – I’ve printed them off and will make sure to use them next time I’m at my regular pub. 🙂

Anyhoo, must run – I’m at work and the proverbial barbarians are at the gates and I have to take a look at the sensors.

    ‘Til next time, take care!

    Cheers,

    Ted

I have a dsl router already though, so I don’t need their stuff…just need to buy a wireless AP now so I can surf on my lappy hands free heh.

  13. ShaolinTiger December 27, 2004 at 9:25 pm #

Hey I got the blue interior light and the speakers, just not yet installed the luminous blue wiper jets and blinking headlights.

  14. ShaolinTiger December 27, 2004 at 9:27 pm #

Hey dude welcome, thanks for visiting. Yeah I’ve lost my car a few times in those big ass car parks too, I’ve taken to making a note of where I park now though.

  15. ShaolinTiger December 27, 2004 at 9:29 pm #
