God of Guitar Hero 2

Guitar Hero II ROCKS!

I was skeptical this game would be any good, but it’s actually fantastic! It’s really really addictive too, I’m actually tempted to buy the guitar controller to play it as it’s impossible to do hard and extreme well with the control pad.

And yes I am God! This is on Medium.

302 note streak! Out of 512 notes I only missed 6, not bad eh.

I played it only once though because I don’t have any console. If i get to buy a console this year, I’ll make sure I take it together with GH2.

The guitar and GH2 game set is RM400 or so. Alternatively you can get a cheap RM50 bootleg one, big diff though. Good luck twanging! XD

Btw, if you don’t wanna lose a kidney buying the Rm400 guitar+game set, you could always do it the Malaysian way and buy the “China Brand” controller. I bought it from a shop in Centerpoint new wing. Its only RM50.

Bear in mind of the disadvantages of using a pirated controller:

1.) No whammy bar to harvest that extra star power from long notes.

2.) The strum doesn’t work properly in the game menus. It can only go “Down” during the selection menus, so i just use the player 2 joypad to select songs etc. But it works fine in the actual game.

3.) Button colors are wrong…but that doesn’t matter cuz u dun look at them anyway. But the buttons are 90% good cuz if you press them at a weird angle, the note doesn’t register. Happens during those crazy guitar solos.

Buy the ori set, sell the game (on ebay, I heard it was a bestseller and bound to be snatched up in no time), then keep the awesome guitar!!
