English Breakfast in KL – Shaolin Style!

Ok so what I did before I left to Brunei was whipped myself up a huge psuedo-english breakfast, of course it’s not quite the same as the original I had[/url], back in the UK..

But I think I did pretty good!

Bear in mind, no mushrooms here and pretty hard to get nice fresh tomatoes.

First up, as usual, fry the sausages (MAKE SURE YOU POKE SOME HOLES IN THEM FIRST!!) at a medium heat until they are golden brown and cooked throughout.

At around the same time fry some hash browns, these are readily available in any supermarket, I bought these from Tesco.

Fry some bacon, you can use a little more oil with the bacon, until its light pink all over and preferably, if you are good, you will get the rind nice and crispy too.

With the oil from the sausages and bacon you can fry up some bread REAL nice, tastes like heaven.

Fried eggs of course.

Of course it’s not complete without baked beans.

Then load it all on a plate, delicious! Great with a dash of HP Brown sauce or Heinz tomatoe ketchup.

Best served with some fresh orange juice. YUM!

On a side note, Tesco has finally opened a proper non-halal section and they have all kinds of lovely stuff like proper bacon, sausages, real cheese (Stilton!) and all kinds of other juicy non-halal stuff.
