The Passing of a Friend – Andrew Cheng Jing Liang

It’s a sad occasion when a friend passes away.

Cheng was a good guy, a diving buddy of mine and a fellow fan of the Satria GTi, a members of the Malaysian Satria GTi club.

Obituary

He was a passionate diver and a passionate driver, he was well liked by all and never had a bad word to say about anyone.

I enjoyed my time diving with him and always enjoyed his company.

Cheng took an unfortunate fall on a project site (he was a civil engineer), from the second story of an unfinished house into the empty swimming pool. He hit his head and was rushed to hospital where he survived the operation and was classified as stable. He lived on bravely for 12 days but the injuries were to severe and his brain wasn’t functioning properly, so his body couldn’t generate the required anti-bodies. This led to him sadly passing away on May 31st.

I have some pictures of us together diving, but they are on my home PC, I will post them later in his memory.

May you rest in peace my friend Cheng, we are thinking of you.

I knew Jing Liang since Primary 1 and I just heard about his unfortunate dismisal just two days ago. I told my hubby about this and he said he remembered reading about it from your site.

You are right that he’s well liked by many and it’s really unfortunately to all of us to have lost someone like him.

My deepest condolenses to his family and loved ones.
