I Went to EUROPE!
Not really..
But guess where I was?

Can you?
I have to admit I know Selangor Valley pretty well, and I've never even heard of this place, let alone been there.
Europe indeed, was a hectic day, need to sleep now...and *sigh* back to work tomorrow, why can't I get the whole week off!
Had a pretty busy few days...need a holiday after that, Mom is having a good time.
Some of her New Zealand pics are awesome, trying to persuade her to blog her trip.
Oh yah, feel free to tell me how awesome my pic is!

It's Colmare Tropicale, Bukit Tinggi, Pahang lah!
Using
Yeah, Berjaya Hills. I've only driven up to it, just to see how weird it could be! Is it as weird inside as it looks?
Please & thank you.
Definitely would want to see your mum's NZ pics put up. All mine (a 2month trip in 2003) were taken with a disposable camera, and still came out stunning! Hers should be amazing.
ST's mum - hereby a request for your trip to be blogged!

My question is, why does it look like a European village? Was it built by Europeans who were home sick, or was it built like that as a tourist destination [Europe Town Theme Village!] or did one person decide to build a European style house and everyone in the village decided to run with the theme?
[Oh, great photo! I love how colourful it is.]

I think it's targetted at those retirees from Europe or something and the Malaysia My Second home program.
Using
ah nice pic.. went there many years ago
dabido: it makes perfect sense that they build a village that looks like europe in malaysia... i mean... european tourists come to malaysia just to see artificial villages that look like the ones they have back home right?
Using
I was there not very long ago

Using

Fake German village in Malaysia. Never been there but a few friend who have were praising the place.

Boss Stewie - lol Not all tourists come from Europe. Some are internal tourists. Which is why Theme Parks can be quite popular.

wingz: Smart hor you!
Vincent Tan: Yah Pahang, my bad.
Grant (Intensecure): Pretty interesting place indeed, now is known as Berjaya Hill Resort or something. I definitely want to get her pictures and stories up.
Dabido (Teflon): I'm not sure, it's a real place apparently in Alsace, France.
Dwayne Foong: After looking around I decided not to eat there.
ch: Yes, mild HDR from 3 images (-1,0,+1)
KY: Well almost..
James: It's France!
kidchan: Close, Bukit Tinggi!
Adam OK: French French French!

It's colmar tropicale in bukit tinggi!!!
Lovely and lively colours, almost like a rendering! Love those cloud formations. Been there twice, and never got such nice skies
Using
Bukit Tinggi is modelled after a small village in France called Colmar. In all honesty, Colmar is very much better looking than what Bukit Tinggi depicts.
Using
looks nice indeed
