The new forum to hang out now for RoC DoTA is http://dotaforum.com

Currently the most played version is DOTA Classic 3.76c for RoC.

Following this it'd be DOTA Classic 3.78b but the changes are too radical for some people. This the current version with the latest RoC patch (1.22.whatever).

The other 2 which are still popular are DOTA Rumble which is fun too, with just 1 lane down the middle and DOTA (Danites Hell 2 Beta 3) with all Random Skills.

I've narrowed down the list just to leave the latest versions.

To play the latest RoC versions you will need Warcraft III 1.17 (or 1.22 to play Battle.net) version which you can get HERE

I uploaded from my Maps folder, those of which I play with..so they work for me, no other complaints either, perhaps a dodgy connection.

Try downloading again to a different place on your hard drive.

Got it figured out. Was a W3 flakiness after having just installed v1.18. This is the only place left the get the files, since the TWC compilation thread has out-of-date links. This page is officially a Godsend!

Just wanted to thank you for making such a convienient page to DL these maps from. I am in a cyber cafe in Iraq serving my country and the computers get wiped clean daily so you can imagine the frusteration in trying to get a game in within the few hours I have to myself without these fine links.

Dude, the allstars 5.xx sucks. But allstar 6.xx is cool, though. Still plenty of bugs. I started with dota Chaos [kinda weird, I know] but nobody around me play dota classic :/

Wrong version of WC3.

You need 1.17 or above, preferably 1.20 which is the latest patch for 3.7b and AT editions.

I can't play dota.

I purchase a warcraft cd on EB, install the warcraft frozen throne then download the original dota but when i start to play it, the command box where you can pick a character dosent show =/ cant play dota please help
