We Ate This Updated – The Apartment – The Curve
Fast becoming of my favourite places for the mussels and the delicious chicken liver pate.

Do check out the duck and mango salad and the sinful pavlova for dessert.

A delicious Friday lunch at Chinoz on the Park in KLCC accompanied by wine from the Wyndham estate and conversation from the Chief Winemaker himself - Nigel Dolan!

Definitely worthwhile for the RM100nett.

Hakka Noodles are quite a rarity around KL, apparently they are more popular in East Malaysia (something like Kolo Mee) and you can get them easily in Ipoh. Now you can get your fix in Cheras too (near Steven's Corner).

No commentsLower Wick Pitch and Putt – Some Yummy Food and Goodbye UK!
Every Sunday it was tradition for my and my homeboy Chiu to go down to Lower Wick driving range and have a round on the Pitch and Putt (when I used to live in Worcester). It's a pretty effective use of space with the driving range in the middle and the short 9 hole course around the outside, each hole is basically a short par 3 of around 70-100 yards or so.
I enjoy it more than golf as it's much easier and much less time consuming, I don't get bored or frustrated by the end.
I had a warm up on the driving range first before unleashing my skills on the Pitch and Putt.

Chiu teed off..landing the bloody ball on the green almost every time with his first shot.

Teeing up to whoop my ass towards the end, I lost of course - but not by too much.

After that we headed to a nearby pub for some Sunday lunch - the steak and ale pie was really good!
Anyway that was about that for my UK trip, I took it easy for the last few days, spent some time with my Mom and ate loads!
I had some lovely home made chicken pie.

We Ate This Updated – Marche Movenpick – The Curve
Not a bad place to eat, but not a great one - anything special I missed there? I find a little over-priced personally.

This is simply one of my favourite desserts! I'm sure mostly everyone has tried it...it's a little pricey at RM3.30 but it certainly is a nice treat now and then.

Comments are off for this postFidani and The Chocolate Factory
So in September the lovely Eiling invited a bunch of us to head to the Fidani Chocolate factory in Shah Alam where they make premium hand made chocolates under the watchful eye of the skillful chocolate master-chef Amer.
So let's see...there was - Kimberlycun, Suanie, FA, Ringo, KY, Rach, HornyBaldyNicholas, Grace, Jen, David, Ziling and Yiling (the last two being Eilings sisters!).
Eiling briefed us on what was going to happen and told us a bit about the company and what they did there, basically they make higher end handmade chocolates under the luxury brand Fidani.

You can get these chocolates in the duty free chocolates shops at KLIA and various other locations.
Then we were introduced to Chef Amer, a highly trained confectionary chef who masterminds the recipes and construction of the chocolates for Fidani using only the highest quality ingredients from around the world.

Before he really got started though we were already demolishing this HUGE box of chocolates, chocolate for breakfast - yum!
