Last weekend I went to Speedzone at Zouk, in honour of the MotoGP at Sepang the next day.

I was attracted by the top notch line-up (Matt Darey trance god and Seb Fontaine).

I was on the media board - femes can?!

The backdrop of course was KLCC visible clearly behind Zouk.

Then when we went in there was some cool bike simulator, you couldn't actually control it - it was more for experience but it was fun. The screen was massive and the sound loud.

It chucked you around pretty hard too - kinda cool.

Yah it's that time of the year again! Speedzone is coming and the Speedzone tour 2007.

It's going to be hitting Zouk KL on the 20th of October with some serious headline acts. Matt Darey and Seb Fontaine rocking it hard from my homeland, two of the DJ's I really enjoy.

The rest of the line-up is pretty decent too with Princess Superstar, Gareth Emery & GaryDJ.

Zouk Mainroom: DJ Joey G of Channel [V] fame will get the party started and set the pace for UK’s favourite DJ Matt Darey, a chameleon of sound whose productions have been a major influence to the industry today. Next up is DJ Seb Fontaine who has made his mark since his residencies at CREAM and BBC Radio1. Last but not least presenting trance wonder boy Gareth Emery (ranked #34 in the DJ Mag Top 100 Poll), tipped by Paul van Dyk as the artist to breakthrough in 2007, who will take you to the finish line!

Velvet Underground: Presenting the one and only female DJ for the night, Princess Superstar who is renowned worldwide for her mash-ups between hip-hop, electro and rock. She has performed with N.E.R.D, Bjork, Z-Trip and KRS-1 and her remake of “Exceeder – Mason vs. Princess Superstar” debuted at #3 on the UK pop charts!

The Loft: Bounce to the funky house beats of GaryDJ, an accomplished DJ who has remixed tracks for the likes of Jamiroquai, Destiny’s Child and Maxwell, followed by a kaleidoscope of sounds delivered by DJ Jeremy Boon, resident DJ of Velvet Underground Singapore.

Terrace Bar: Chill out to Zouk resident DJs while taking a break from non-stop partying and try your skills at the party’s unique interactive zones.

They are giving away 1,000 FREE tickets too on the website for the first 1,000 people to register.

Yes it's time for the Grand Prix party again, this year under the guise of Speedzone 2007 to be held in KL Tower on 7th of April 2007.

Grand Prix fever is back to grip Malaysia, and what best to match the hottest race in the world, but the most sizzling party on the planet. The highly popular Speedzone Tour 2007 has arrived, in time to greet the heat and excitement of the Malaysian Grand Prix. This year, in an effort to bring this party even closer to its fans, this event will be held in the funky settings of KL Tower. Come party with Speedzone, be a part of the very first Grand Prix party of 2007 and the biggest EVER to be held at KL Tower.

Along with this is also a chance to win some free tickets (and to meet me..).

This is how we will roll it:

1. A clue will be posted here daily starting from 5th to 9th March, the answers are derived from the previous day Star newspaper.

2. You are to compile the answers and form a secret phrase.

3. On the 10th March (Saturday), you are to bring along this secret phrase (printed/pasted on a A4 size or larger surface) to locate me (Kung-Foo Tiger) at Starbucks 1 Utama (New Wing), between 2pm to 4pm.

4. If YOU have the correct password will be presented with a "WINNER CERTIFICATE" that allows them to collect 2 tickets on event day for free entry. We will also be recording their names and IC details for the event's organiser's reference.

WINNERS CERTIFICATE are not transferable nor redeemable for cash!

*Tickets are issued on event day, based on the WINNER CERTIFICATE and a valid photo ID to prove 18 years of age.

If you don't get the clues you can also have a chance to win a free ticket as Speedzone themselves are giving away 1000, following that you can just cough up and buy one, it's only RM20.

The website will be up on March 9th and once you register the first 1000 will get free tickets.
