Visting Masjid Ubudiah - Kuala Kangsar Mosque
Apparently the most beautiful mosque in Malaysia and of the most photogenic mosques in the World! Quite an accolade for humble Kuala Kangsar.
We took a trip out there on the second day of our outing as it's fairly close to Sungai Siput, we reached there with the beautiful early morning light hitting the sides of the golden domes.
It was breathtaking with the pure blue skies. I hope I've captured some of its' beauty here.

It was a splendid place to visit really, if you are in the area do check it out. Early morning or late afternoon would be the best times.

5 commentsI Went to EUROPE!
Not really..
But guess where I was?

Can you?
I have to admit I know Selangor Valley pretty well, and I've never even heard of this place, let alone been there.
Europe indeed, was a hectic day, need to sleep now...and *sigh* back to work tomorrow, why can't I get the whole week off!
Had a pretty busy few days...need a holiday after that, Mom is having a good time.
Some of her New Zealand pics are awesome, trying to persuade her to blog her trip.
Oh yah, feel free to tell me how awesome my pic is!
22 commentsMinehead - Part III - The Sunset
After our walk I suggested we headed up to the top of the hill to catch the sunset over the bay, here I captured some of my favourite pictures of all time, including my number 1 all time favourite!
A couple I took from the car window on the drive up.

Minehead - Part II - A Walk Along the Seafront
Well after lazing around on the terrace all day we went for a walk along to the harbour and down towards the beach (the opposite direction from Butlins!) to get away from the people and get a bit of fresh air and exercise.
It was a nice walk, along by the harbour, the lifeboat station and down along the beach.

Fish & Chips and a Walk by the River Severn with Sunset!
So a few days later I headed back down to town to capture the cathedral again with my sturdy tripod and the correct ISO setting..sadly it was closed by the time I got there, but do enjoy these pics of the Riverside.
We started off customarily with fish and chips sitting on a bench by the river watching the children playing and people feeding the swans and pigeons.

The kids were really enjoying the fountain.
