My Dream In The Year Of The Tiger

Last year was a super expensive year for me and well this year is set to be even more expensive, last year I bought a house…and changed car to the Airtrek Turbo (which also turned out to be very high maintenance!).

Airtrek Turbo

But I haven’t regretted either at all! Although finding someone to do my renovation now is giving me a bit of a headache and the car still has a couple more things to be fixed (and a couple more things which aren’t broken but I want to change anyway..Brembo anyone?!).

Luckily Tiger Beer is giving away a truckload of cash to welcome in the new year – Tiger Beer is the official beer for the Year of the Tiger! You can find the full details on the Tiger Run page here: http://www.nuffnang.com.my/tigerrun/

Grand Prize
RM8,888 worth of dreams + RM1,888 cash prize

1st Runner Up (Male)
RM8,888 worth of dreams

1st Runner Up (Female)
RM8,888 worth of dreams

Anyway my first on the list for RM8,888 worth of dreams would be to upgrade my current camera as my existing well loved/well abused/well traveled Nikon D200 is starting to fall apart. My choice for upgrade would be the Nikon D300s which isn’t a million miles away from the D200 but is improved in many small ways. This should set me back around RM5150.

Add onto that the Nikon MB-D10 battery grip so I can shoot longer hours covering Nuffnang events and more comfortably take portrait orientation pictures, which would set me back around RM650.

So far I’m up to RM5800, which leaves me about RM3088 to play with if I won RM8,888. Next up would be a new paintjob for my car, that would be a real dream come true..specially if it could be done in a few days rather than 3 weeks. I’d have to go for some real quality job using Glasurit or similar.

With only RM3,088 left to fulfill my dreams, I’d probably have to top-up some more myself!

If you wish to win RM8,888 in dreams for yourself you should:

  1. Write a blog post titled β€” “My Dream in the Year of the Tiger” and share what your dream is with everyone. It can be anything, a trip to Tokyo, an LV bag or even a litter of kittens!
  2. Send an email to fulfillmywish.tiger@nuffnang.com with your full name and blog permalink and you’re set!

88 lucky Nuffnangers with the most creative and deserving dreams will then be chosen to take part in the Tiger Run!
