Imagine my amusement 2 and a 1/2 years later, after graduating, a client called me up and asked why I'd become the poster boy for a college student truancy article.

I comfort myself with the thought that at least it wasn't an article abt STD's amongst college youth.

stopwhining: Did you see any pictures on my blog that aren't mine or aren't credited? Have you seen my original DVD collection? I agree the culture here tends to piracy, but that's no excuse for the mainstream media to have such a lack of respect for intellectual property.

I most certainly will write the to thestar newspaper.
It is sad that there are many many considerate and civic minded Malaysians who do consider the implications of their actions.

Stopwhining is also correct too. But omitting to point out to the press is not right.
Yes blogs may post pictures of things that are not theirs, but many blogs do not even have the readership close to what a publication like the star has, hence they need to have a higher standard of care placed on them.

However as he said it is still not right whatever the case may be, but people still do it.
