Oasis Live in Singapore – National Indoor Stadium – 05/04/2009
So this weekend was a busy one, Saturday was Nuffnang Music Bash '09 (pictures for that coming soon) and then back to sleep and up at 10am next day for a road trip down to Singapore.
We stopped at Malacca on the way for some lunch - awesome chicken rice balls at Hoe Kee (far far far better than the other two commercialised joints further up, their Asam fish head was nice too).

Excuse the camera phone quality pics
(I have no compact camera now, and I sure as hell wasn't lugging the SLR to a concert.)
After that it was off to Jonker 88 for the Baba Cendol - one of the best things in the world!

We considered some popiah on the way out, but didn't have the stomach space or the time for it.
It rained terribly after that and the traffic through Johor was quite terrible.
We reached the stadium just in time to grab the tickets (there wasn't a big queue thankfully), run down the road, grab a super speed Subway (with REAL ham and bacon) and then back to the stadium.
The concert started promptly at 8:15pm and it was AWESOME! It started off a bit slow as most people aren't so familiar with the songs from the newer albums - like this one 'The Shock Of The Lightning'.
But they rocked out with some real classics later on and it was intense.
Cigarettes and Alchohol is always a crowd-pleaser.
You can't beat a bit of Morning Glory.
And of course a beautiful sing-a-long version of Don't Look Back in Anger acoustic style.
It was completely awesome, apart from reaching back home at 3am and getting up for work the next day - not so awesome.
All videos and pics taken with Nokia E71. The sound on the videos is surprisingly clear without distortion.
