You might remember back in November 2007 I posted about a local video service launching – Hypp.TV. Back when it started it was mostly focused on Football content from the BPL, now they have relaunched with new technology and a lot of new content covering entertainment (with exclusive channels such as WB’s Sorority Forever, Fashion TV, Luxe TV, Debar 99, NDTV image, C Music, Wedding TV, Zee Music) and news as well as sport (including the 2010 World Cup Qualifiers!).
They will also be offering Video-On-Demand for the popular Korean and Hong Kong (TVB) dramas everyone is so into these days.
The relaunch was held on February 21st at Laundry Bar in The Curve.

There was quite a number of people there including bloggers, members of the media and various other people associated with the project.

The Emcee for the day – Glen from Capital FM.

After the launch gambit and a brief demo of the new technology there was a small press conference inside.

The bloggers were dressed up as various celebs or movie characters to represent the new entertainment content on Hypp.TV, here you can see Cynthia, Huai Bin and Ringo.

There was quite a crowd for the Q&A session too.

Shin Yee and Huai Bin.

After that was time for some food! Nom nom nom.

Then a group shot with all the bloggers, Jeremy Kung (Executive Vice President, Consumer, TM) and Emily Wee (General Manager of Content and Digital Media). Who the king baby! Uhuh uhuh.

Just before the end there were a few simple questions for people to win some prizes and that was the end of that!
