Rihanna is a very attractive 21 year old from Barbados, she was born as Robyn Rihanna Fenty. So far she’s achieved five Billboard Hot 100 number ones! The songs that hit the top were “Umbrella”, “SOS”, “Take a Bow”, “Disturbia” and “Live Your Life”.
Rihanna is currently tied with Beyonce as the female solo artist with the most number ones in this decade. More on Wikipedia here.
She’s most well known for her hit song ‘Umbrella’ – I’m sure you’ve heard it before.. I actually do like most of her songs, I just find they tend to get overplayed until the point you’re a bit tired of hearing them.
The good news is, she’s coming to KL for a concert at Stadium Putra (Bukit Jalil) on the 13th February at 8.30pm!
She’ll be here as part of her ‘The Good Girl Gone Bad Tour’, the second world concert tour by the Barbadian singer to support her album ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’. It consists of 3 legs with 61 shows and has run for over 6 months, starting in Canada. Supporting acts throughout the tour included Akon, Ciara, David Jordan, Chris Brown and various local European acts during the second European leg. Chris Brown and Rihanna performed 11 shows in New Zealand and Australia, and one show in the Philippines.
If you are a U.O.X. member it’s actually very easy to win tickets to the concert! The best section too (the free standing RM198 section), it’s the section I’d personally choose to be.
