I adore jodie foster but for this movie unfortunately i have to give a thumbs down. it looks so amateurishly done and there was no chemistry whatsoever witht he so-called partner/bf.

surprisingly i find her rather entertaining in nim’s island.

I remember watching this one in the cinema by myself because all my friends didn’t know about it and it was not big a production… The best part is you got cinema-goers clapping hand at the end part of the show…The latest hand clapping movie is crappy musical milf/mature Mamma Mia (I am sorry but I hate Bee Gees Abba.

Huai Bin: Yah I think you'd like it. Requiem yah, that's a hell of a movie along with stuff like Donnie Darko and Magnolia. Re the camera, I'll mail you. KY: Definitely worth a watch. KittyCat: Yah a little bit, but not so extreme. It's very much a realistic portrayal of what can happen in the big city.

Doesn’t the plot here sound like “Kill Bill”? Anyway, Jodie Foster’s one of my top actresses and yes, I thought she’s great in Panic Room and definitely, Silence of the Lambs. Will watch out for this, thanks!

Interesting…sounds like something I would enjoy. Have you watched Requiem for a Dream? I’ve always recommended that to everyone, one of my favorite movies but I forgot who I’ve asked. Very hard hitting, gritty and realistic movie featuring Jared Leto. I’ve seen it countless times.

OT for this post, but what would you recommend for a dSLR in the RM 3k region? RM 3,500 with a basic lens is the most I’ll be willing to spend. I’m looking at the Sony alpha, but would love your input, ST.
