Live and Loud 2007 Part 2 – Hannah Tan Live
So after James Taylor Quartet at Live and Loud 2007 came Hannah Tan!
Thanks so much Hannah for getting me access to the stage, backstage and the chance to mingle with the stars. It was an awesome experience!
To all the detractors Hannah CAN sing, even Suanie said so and she's brutally honest (mentioning Whitney's belly).
The setup was good, nice choreography, some piano work and some up-beat songs.It was a shame it was still daylight though as the light was rather flat and she had some good AV stuff and lighting.
She came on initially amongst a flurry of dancers decked in Blue and White.
Working the small but enthusiastic crowd (Plenty of shouts "Hannah we love you").
After that she got a bit warm and took her coat off - much to the crowds delight.
She switched to the Piano for a while after that - which she plays beautifully.
Then a few songs on the stool.
Alda Tan the original bass slut was there of course.
Then it was a few more upbeat songs - energy!
A rather special moment for me followed, when my logo was displayed on a 60ft screen on the backdrop of a huge concert - wow!
And then Hannah exited with a flourish.
It was a good performance, enjoyed by all I believe. I hope as Hannah grows as a performer she'll get more mainstream spots and more respect for what she's doing.
After that we hung out for a while backstage with Elliott Yamin - hohoho
Up next guess what? Elliott...no! Project Pop from Indonesia.

Her new image makeover is helping with her credibility as a singer, as opposed to her previous outing with her being reduced to being mere eye-candy.

Hannah can definitely sing and she's mighty humble . She gave away a 100 tickets on the day itself for lnl. Her new image is certainly putting her on the right track .
