I JUST got myself an Asus 256MB EN8600GT for RM450 from Computer War and it didn't come with a fan, just a heatsink. And idea why? How much did you pay for your graphics card?

wingloon: After using it for a while, I can thoroughly recommend it, even with super heavy use I've had no instability at all and it's really fast!

Hehe, thanks man.

I like your setup, probably because my setup sucks badly (no tables or chair), CPU on floor like yours, monitor on a box shelf which was laid to sleep horizontally, speakers on the shelf, ext DVD RW also on the shelf, keyboard on a old scanner box with the scanner inside (officialy dead), mouse on a stack of magazines, and lastly me sitting crisscross legged on the floor on a mat.

Sucks when you don't have enough space to get a table + a nice chair which you can sit back and relax while being on the pc.

moons: Yeah I did it for you ok :D Hope you're happy now.

isMe: Might just re-jig and whack the old ones in to copy.

Mama BoK: About RM2.6k I think, you can check prices at Computer War.

Mark: Using G, still slow though, will think up another way I think.

KY: Nah don't need to back-up everything, important stuff is mirrored across two drives and striping shows no performance increase in reality so it's pointless.

Calvin: Aye it might be heading for Ubuntu!

d'Fish: Not lucky really, I ate maggi for 3 months to pay for this.

TZ: It's excellent, a world of difference.

Jason: Because Quad Core is inherently slower, both the clock and the bus speed are slower and extremely few apps support quad core properly if at all. 4GB? I guess you aren't aware Windows XP only supports up to 3.5...

Albert Ng: To be perfectly honest I didn't think to look, it must have one for the CD, so I guess I can do it that way - duh!

Planet Malaysia: About RM2.6k I think, you can check prices at Computer War.
