I’ve never heard of a Damselfly before. When I first saw your leech photos, I thought it was some advertisement or something. Hahaha. It does look bad though. Really nice photos as usual.

Really nice macro shot. I love the shot of the St. Andrews Cross Spider. But gosh … really pity your feet.

But since leeches are used in medical practises, is that good too?

Shiet! The scorpion, jumping spider and grasshopper FTW! I should really join your trips one of these days.

By the way, if you want to prevent leeches, spray your socks with insecticide before wearing them. A less effective [but has worked for me] solution is to mix a lot of salt into a glass of water and spray it.

Unless you’re going to stick your feet into a river, then it would all wash away and become useless.
