The Wedding - Day 2 - Picking up the Bride & Subang
The morning after the night before...I woke up thinking I was about to die, my breath was toxic enough to melt plastic appliances and my blood felt like it was 90% alchohol of some sort..
It was early...my mouth was dry, my stomach was heaving and my head was pounding.
Not a good start to the day.
I sat on the toilet trying to take a dump at the same time, without puking in my own lap...after that I really did want to puke, but my crap was happily floating there...I had to flush 3 times before I could finally puke in peace. Thank the lord..
After some explosive technicolour yawning, I had a shower, got ready and headed out.
There aren't many photos from the morning...as well I could barely stand up. I'll try and get some from Cass soon.
We headed over the brides parental home about 10am to pick her up, there was food everywhere, I didn't want to see anything or smell anything, I just wanted to curl up under the table.
The car was cutely decorated.
All the traditional things went on.
Including all the Heng Tai having to rescue the bride from a locked room..we had to drink pure lemon juice (thanks girls..) with a hangover, already feeling like death warmed up, not a good time. I think 3 of us puked again after that. Then drink bittergourd.
And of course who can forget a t-shirt sown with polo mints, which we had to pull off with our teeth, of course there were polo mints strategically placed in Terences' armpits, crotch and ass crack...what fun.
After that we managed to get Saint out and head back down for the tea ceremony and all.
I wish I wasn't about to die, as there was a massive plate of lovely freshly roasted pig on the table....*drool*
No one touched it though.
Here's my buddy, looks hungover too.
After that it was back to KL for a nap before the next dinner (Much nicer weather than the journey there). I felt a little better after some Soya milk and chocolate to get my blood sugar back up.
This was the menu for the Subang dinner, please note NO SHARKSFIN AGAIN!

Again loads of food and loads of drink...but after 2 beers, I felt drunk again, so I took it really steady.
Ah evil beer.
Terry managed to NOT spray the ceiling this time.
The food was good, and plenty of course.
And again....loads of VERY noisy Yam Sengs.

With about 20 jugs of beer, Kim and Valentina can REALLY sing, me and KY...well can't haha.
