Antenna Boy - Does He REALLY Get Better Reception?

Is the radio signal so lousy in Malaysia that you really need 6 antennas to pick it up properly?

Antenna Boy

Or did he think his car would go faster?

Or is it just to look COOL?

Sorry but in my books, he loses 1000000 cool points for this..

Antenna Boy

Bad, bad bad..fail, go home, do not collect 200.

Antenna boy was spotted in 1-Utama new wing near the Cinema.

I reckon the feller insisted on free gifts since he had paid "so much money" for the car.

So the dealer gave him extra antennas. :P

Cars covered with stickers saying "5Zigen", "Spoon", "Nismo" or the like always seem to zoom ahead effortlessly. Or maybe not - maybe they just sound faster ..

They're TV antennas and that's normal!

    Stickers? Antenae? Pttthhhh!

Everyone knows it's red paint that makes cars go faster. :-)

[Or more true to physics, Black Paint! Which has to do with Energy exchange, but I don't think it makes much difference till you're flying a Blackbird Aircraft!] :-)

I think the Antenae are on his car as he runs 'SETI' in his car, and he needs it to communicate to the ET's! :-)

    'ET Phone home'
'Wait little dude, just got to adjust the antenae! ... There you go!' :-)

Multiple antennas do help in reception.

Recent research in multiple antennas show increases in theoretic information transfer.

Even the usual EM theory says that the signal from a wider wave section can boost the received RF power.

Give this guy some credit for having studied his engineering stuff well.

Someone once told me that cars with a lot of antaenna belonged to repossessors and those guys who swoop by when you are involved in an accident and offer all kinds of 'services'. The antaennas are for their radios or something...
